Take a PC TV Survey

I’ve read Jon Peddie‘s writing for years, and he’s one of the top experts I know on computer graphics. His areas of interest now collide with HDTV, as the personal computer may be poised to become the central hub for television and other forms of home entertainment. His company is conducting an online survey about TVs in PCs, and he is interested in your opinions, whether you know anything about the subject or not. And as a bonus incentive, he’s giving away prizes at random to participants.

Here’s the link to the survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=952632301044.

I’m still not sure about how quickly — if at all — the PC will work its way into the living rooms of American homes. I think it’s more likely that we’ll use computers that we don’t realize are computers. For example, the average PVR — personal video recorder — is a more powerful computer than many home PCs, but it is just dedicated to perform a limited range of tasks. In any case, I expect that Jon’s research will turn up some useful insights about where this market is headed, and here’s your chance to help us all understand it a bit better.
